RBLPOA  Zoom Meeting with Town Supervisor Sam Oliverio

 FAQ:

  1. Do I need to register in advance? –Yes, registration is required. Register HERE. After you register, you will receive an email with a link to the Zoom meeting. Save the email — you will need it to enter the meeting on Saturday.

  2. Who can attend?  — Any RBL District homeowner or renter (long term renter, one month or longer)

  3. Do I need to be a RBLPOA member to attend? –No. All in the community are welcome. However, we do encourage you to join the RBLPOA — it is our community organization. Membership is only $35/year. You can join HERE

  4. What equipment is needed to attend the Zoom meeting? Best is a laptop with a camera, but you can also attend with any computer, with a smart phone (Apple or Android), or with any phone.

  5. Can I join without video? Yes. It is your preference.

  6. What time is the meeting?  The meeting will start promptly at 9:30 am. The room will open at 9:15 and there will be tech help available then if you need it.

  7. What is the format of the meeting? The meeting will start promptly at 9:30 am and end promptly at 10:30 am. There will be a brief introduction by Ina Cholst. We may or may not have personal hellos and brief self introductions, depending on the number of people attending. Supervisor Oliverio will then speak for 20 or 30 minutes. After his talk, the last 30 minutes will be open for Q & A.

  8. How will we handle Q & A? All participants will be automatically muted by the administrator at the beginning of the meeeting. Participants can ask a question by virtually “raising a hand.” (See below for more details). After “raising a hand” you will be un-muted one at a time by the administrator. Be patient! Be brief! Questions and comments can also be made by typing into the “Chat” button. (You can also use the “Chat” button to indicate a raised hand)

  9.  I don’t have a computer. Can I arrange to go to my neighbor’s house for the Zoom meeting? We can’t stop you. But we can discourage you. The whole reason to have a Zoom meeting is to keep the social distancing that will help to protect our community and our essential workers. Please consult with our tech support admin@rblpoa.com about options for you to connect at home. Smart phones work fine. Any phone will work, though obviously without video.

  10. Can several people in my household participate on separate devices? Yes. But each must register separately.

  11. I need technical help to use Zoom. Who do I contact? Email us at admin@rblpoa.com Include your phone number and your question. Please do this well in advance of the meeting. Unfortunately, after 9:30 am on June 6, tech will not be available
