Celebrate Veterans Day, Friday, November 11

Speaking of fair and free elections, we want to thank all of our veterans for their incredible sacrifice for our country. If you’d like to celebrate in person, there will be three commemorative ceremonies this Friday:

• 11am | Putnam Town Hall

• 12pm | Lake Peekskill Veterans Monument, Lake Drive

• 1pm | Veterans of Foreign Wars, 154 Oscawana Lake Road

Upcoming Town Board Meetings

On Wednesday, November 9, the Town Board Meeting Work Session will seek to clarify the definition of a service dog in the town code.

On Wednesday, November 16, the regular Town Board Meeting will hold their budget vote.

Seeking food donations for Thanksgiving

Donations of frozen turkeys, chicken, or pork roast are needed at the Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry for their Thanksgiving distribution. Drop off Saturdays through November 19th from 8-11am at Grace Methodist Church, 337 Peekskill Hollow Road. Or drop off at Town Hall, Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
