Children’s Beach Closed
ALERT:
There is a toxic blue green algae bloom at Children’s Beach. Please stay out of the water near this beach and any other places around the lake with a similar appearance. Especially, keep young children and dogs out.
Our beach manager Abby O’Brien accompanied our county health department to Park and Spur beaches to check for further blooms, and both beaches remain open, life guarded and with no evidence of blue algae. The beach and swim area must be blue green algae free for at least 24 hours to be allowed to open. We will continue to update here.
Park Beach is at 8 Alpine Drive and Spur Beach is off Cove Road.
When in doubt, stay out!
